  1. My whole family gets together on Thanksgiving to give thanks to our Lord and to enjoy a great meal together. We always have a Butterball turkey. This is a wonderful holiday. Thank you so much for sharing

  2. Yes, we’ve hosted Thanksgiving now for the past few years. This year, we’ll be hosting my hubby’s sister, her hubby & their daughter. My mom & sister won’t be coming this year…hopefully next year again!

  3. I like this recipe. We normally just throw the turkey in a cooler with kosher salt and ice water. I like the idea of using stock and adding brown sugar…Thanks!!

  4. LOOKS AND SOUNDS AMAZING! I LOVE THANKSGIVING. BUT I’VE GOTTA TELL YOU, THAT IS WAY TOO COMPLICATED FOR ME; YEARS AGO AN EX-BOYFRIENDS MOTHER TOLD ME HOW TO MAKE A PAPER BAG TURKEY, AND I’VE BEEN MAKING IT THAT WAY EVER SINCE! IT COMES OUT PERFECT EVERY TIME

  5. One of the most important steps of cooking the turkey properly is the resting of the bird. “You may be inclined to let it cook longer, but DO NOT! This part is crucial and where most people will ruin their bird. As your turkey rests, it will continue to cook inside and reach a desired temperature.”

  6. Wishing I could recreate my grandmother’s stuffing every year with no luck. Wish Butterball could help me with that. Recipe is long gone now. She never wrote it down and no one knows it.
