Staying Committed to Weight Loss with Chocolate

Medifast Chocolate Meals with the Mefast Go Diet Weight Loss Plans

I just completed my six-week dedication to the Medifast Go! weight loss plan. Honestly, it’s been much easier than I anticipated. I’m enjoying the wide variety of foods that the plan has to offer. It doesn’t even feel like I’m on a diet at times. Medifast makes it super easy for me because they offer meals for the entire day, so I don’t have to worry about making a meal plan for the week. Plus I get to eat every two to three hours!

So what really keeps me dedicated to this weight loss plan? The chocolate! Yes, I just said weight loss and chocolate! How many times have you tried to lose weight and ended up failing because you have a sweet tooth? As for me, I can’t even count. Well, thanks to the many delicious chocolate treats that Medifast has, I’m able to stay committed.

committed To Losing Weight While eating chocolate

The Smore’s Crunch Bar is hands down my absolute favorite out of everything that Medifast has to offer. It’s like a yummy rice krispies bar with chunks of tiny marshmallows along with a layer of milk chocolate on the bottom and chocolate drizzled on top. Do you believe that I can have this tasty treat up to five times a day? Yes, I’m in heaven!

The Chocolate Chip Soft Bake is another one of my favorites. I can add more water to the mixture to make a soft cookie or a little less water to make a crunchy cookie.

For a double chocolate craving, the Chocolate Crunch Bar is great. This bar is like a dark chocolate to me and I’m more of a milk chocolate girl.

The Brownie Soft Bake is another good choice. This is delicious when warm. It tastes like a chocolate cake. Yum!

If you like a traditional breakfast, the Chocolate Chip Pancakes are scrumptious! These golden pancakes loaded with chocolate chips are excellent first thing in the morning. But if you’re like me, you may like to have breakfast for dinner!

These are just some of my favorite chocolate treats from the Medifast Go! program. They also have Chocolate Mint Soft Serve, Dutch Chocolate Shakes, and even Hot Cocoa just to name a few.

My Weight Loss Results with Medifast Go!

MY SIX WEEKS RESULTS

I just reached my first goal and I’m elated! I guess it’s time to mention my weight which I’ve been avoiding. But I’m happy to announce that I’ve gone from 215-lbs to 199-lbs. Yes, I have to mention that one extra pound because that’s my first goal and I made it! As I mentioned in my previous post, I’ve unfortunately experienced some medical conditions that arose a couple of years ago. This has caused me to go from 145-lbs to 215-lbs. So I still have another 50-lbs to lose to get back to where I want to be. With the medical problems, it may not be possible so quickly but I’m determined to get there. However, weight is just another number. I want to feel confident and look good in my clothes again. Inches is now playing a more important role for me now that I’ve reached my first weight loss goal.

Overall Weight went from 215-lbs to 199-lbs

Chest went from 45.5″ to 43.5″                                         Waist went from 42.25″ to 39″

Hips went from 46.5″ to 45″                                               Thighs went from 25.5″ to 24.75″

Keep an eye out for my next update as I’ll be posting photos of my weight loss!

Oh my yes!! The chocolate!! Always my downfall!! But any diet that can include it really would incline me to not cheat and not feel like Im restricting so much!

Chocolate is a HUGE downfall of mine!! It is my comfort food and then some! I heard of death by chocolate and now dieting by chocolate – I like it! This Diabetic would love to get healthier, but I can’t afford much with all of my medical bills!!
I am so proud of you! Most of all, you are proud of yourself!! But being too thin is not healthy either! That’s just what society expects, but models get big salaries to remain a twig. My husband always told me that he did not want a wife that he’d have to shake the sheets to find her! I do love that man!!

Really interesting diet, I hear you can lose fat by eating fat. Also dark chocolate is quite healthy.
