  1. I do not know what I am looking forward to this holiday season. I do not mean to be evasive but because of a loss of a family member I am kind of going thru the motions. I think I want to see the children in the family happy and myself and other family members be able to enjoy themselves despite the loss.

    1. Hello Maureen. I’m sorry to hear about your loss! I know the holidays can be depressing at times when you’ve lost a loved one. My son’s birthday was last week and I lost him almost 10 years ago when he was 13 years old. It’s still hard on me but I know he’s in a better place. Our loved ones would want us to be happy.

      1. Sorry for both losses. Remember what Jesus said about Lazarus- he was at rest. I don’t celebrate the holidays, but I look forward to the resurrection. Even if it takes effort to be happy, it’s to be desired. We’re not created to grieve; it’s hard, and personal, and necessary. But there is hope, even for loved ones lost in death. love, ^

  2. I love your big candy bundle! Thanks for doing that. My favorite christmas candy’s are Demet’s Turtles and the chocolate covered cherries so great.

  3. I am just looking forward to being with my kids and hoping they they love this Christmas. They go in the mornings to help to their church to help feed the the less fortunate then come home to a nice dinner and seeing that Santa has arrived.

  4. too bad i am miles away from from family i would have loved to share quality time with them. fingers crossed maybe next year.

  5. I look forward the most to watching my daughter’s eyes light up on Christmas morning – but I also love the decorations and just taking drives to enjoy the beautiful lightshows! The smells, the cookies, the treats – all of it! What DON’T I love about Christmas would be a better question 🙂
